Expect a 100-130 carry freshman workload, a clear RB1 designation by Year 2, and All-SEC consideration by Year 3 if he stays healthy.

NFL Outlook

Early Day 2 projection at minimum based on the high school profile, with first-round upside if the long speed tests well at the next level. The pro template comparison is a heavier, more violent version of a modern feature back — think a build/style in the neighborhood of a Najee Harris or Kenneth Walker III blend. Three-down ability and pass-catching versatility are the traits that raise his NFL ceiling above the typical SEC bell-cow.

Best Fit

A pro-style or gap/power scheme that pairs a vertical run game with play-action and uses the back as a true offensive weapon in the passing game — exactly what Alabama and OC Ryan Grubb run. He'd be misused in a pure zone-read spread that asks him to bounce everything outside; he's at his best when allowed to attack downhill, finish through contact, and occasionally motion out as a receiving mismatch. Alabama is, by every measure, the optimal landing spot for his skill set.
