Samuels possesses an ideal frame for a modern scoring wing, standing at 6-foot-6 and 200-210 pounds. His most impressive physical trait is a reported 6-foot-11 wingspan, which allows him to play larger than his height, contest shots, and shoot over defenders. While described as naturally strong and a good athlete who can play above the rim, he is not considered a naturally dynamic or explosive mover and lacks elite burst and speed.

Play Style

Samuels is an aggressive, score-first lefty wing who is constantly looking to put pressure on the defense. He uses his handle to create space for his lethal pull-up jumper, which is the cornerstone of his game.
