FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (05/21/2026) — The Arkansas Razorbacks unleashed a four-homer barrage and erupted for 14 runs to bury the Duke Blue Devils 14-5 on Thursday night at Bogle Park, sending 3,196 fans home thrilled with a dominant offensive showcase.

Arkansas answered every Duke punch with a haymaker, racking up double-digit runs through five innings and chasing three different Blue Devil arms in the process. The Razorbacks' lineup produced 12 scoring plays, four home runs, and contributions up and down the order in front of a packed Bogle Park crowd.

## How It Happened

Duke struck first when Aminah Vega launched a solo home run to right field in the top of the first, briefly putting the Blue Devils up 1-0. The lead did not last long. In the bottom of the inning, Dakota Kennedy ripped a single to shallow right that scored Brinli Bain and Ella McDowell, flipping the score to 2-1 Arkansas.

The Razorbacks tilted the game in the second inning. After Kairi Rodriguez's two-run homer to center put Duke back in front 3-2, Arkansas responded with a five-run avalanche. Tianna Bell crushed a grand slam to center, plating Kacelyn Wyckoff, Bain, and McDowell to make it 6-3. Kennedy followed with a solo shot to center later in the frame, pushing the margin to 7-3.

Duke tried to claw back in the third when Layla Lamar homered to left, trimming the deficit to 7-4. Arkansas responded immediately. Bain doubled to deep right and came around to score on a throwing error, McDowell singled home Bain, and Karlie Davison drove in another run on a fielder's choice. By the end of the third, the Razorbacks had stretched the lead to 10-4.

Jessica Oakland's RBI fielder's choice in the fourth got Duke one back, but Arkansas closed the door in the fifth. Kennedy grounded out to score Kennedy Del Duca, and Davison capped the night with a three-run homer to left that brought home McDowell and Kasen Wood for the 14-5 final.

## Turning Point

The second-inning sequence flipped the game beyond Duke's reach. After Rodriguez briefly handed Duke a 3-2 lead, Bell's grand slam to center erased it in one swing and Kennedy's solo shot tacked on insurance. The five-run frame turned a one-run deficit into a four-run cushion and forced Duke into chase mode for the rest of the night.

## Star of the Game

Dakota Kennedy delivered the headline performance, finishing 3-for-4 with a home run, four RBI, and a run scored. Her first-inning two-RBI single set the tone, her second-inning solo homer extended the early lead, and her fifth-inning groundout added another run. Kennedy was central to nearly every Arkansas surge.

Bell matched Kennedy with four RBI of her own on a 2-for-3 night highlighted by the second-inning grand slam. McDowell reached base in all four of her plate appearances, going 1-for-1 with three walks and scoring four runs. Davison contributed a three-run homer and three RBI, and Bain reached base three times with a double, two walks, and three runs scored.

In the circle, Robyn Herron went 3.2 innings, allowing five hits, three runs, and striking out four. Saylor Timmerman closed out the final 1.1 innings to seal the win.

For Duke, Vega went 2-for-3 with a homer, Rodriguez was 1-for-1 with two RBI and a homer, and Lamar added a solo shot of her own. Larissa Jacquez worked 2.2 innings and absorbed the bulk of the Arkansas damage, surrendering nine hits and seven runs.

## What It Means

Arkansas flexed the kind of top-to-bottom offensive depth that travels in postseason play, hammering four home runs and turning eight different baserunning sequences into runs. The Razorbacks' ability to answer every Duke counter with a bigger inning is the calling card of a team built for deep tournament runs.

Duke leaves Bogle Park with three home runs of its own but little else to show for it. Rodriguez, Vega, and Lamar each found the seats, yet the Blue Devils could not contain Arkansas's lineup long enough for those flashes to matter on the scoreboard.
